Protecting property value through professional exterior care
Two owners, one crew, and a rule about never showing you a result that did not happen.
Two names on the truck
Hunt & Brown is not a franchise and it is not a call center that sends whoever is available. It is Brody Hunt and Randy Brown Jr., and the company carries both names because both of us answer for the work.
We are a Georgia LLLP based in Fayetteville, serving the south metro. Same crew every visit. If something is wrong, you are talking to an owner, not a dispatcher.
How it started
Hunt & Brown did not start with pressure washing. It started in middle school, with two friends who kept looking for something to build together. We tried a lot of ideas over the years. None of them stuck.
In February of our senior year, Brody texted Randy about pressure washing. We were at different high schools by then but had stayed close. Randy sat with it for a few days, because he did not want to start something just to be starting something.
What convinced him was a question almost nobody was asking. Everyone was talking about what AI was going to take over. Very few people were asking what it could not. Nobody is sending a robot out to read a surface and clean it properly. Somebody has to show up. That is not changing any time soon.
The second thing was the name. Everyone knows who cleans carpets. Ask someone to name a pressure washing company, local or national, and most people cannot. Every property needs this work eventually, and nobody has built a name worth remembering. We would like to be the ones who do.
The first job
It came from a hardware store counter. Randy was buying mulch and edging for a landscaping job. The cashier asked whether he did that kind of work, he showed her photos, and he mentioned we had just started a pressure washing company. She had a house and a driveway that needed it.
The machine had arrived the day before. We had no commercial chemicals and no surface cleaner. A job we would now finish in an afternoon took us the better part of three days. Her neighbor watched us struggle, walked over, and told us where the professionals buy their chemicals and which tools actually matter.
That conversation changed the company. The same house and driveway takes about six hours now. We got there because somebody who owed us nothing crossed a yard to help, and that is most of what we think about when we talk about how we want to treat the people we work for.
Where this goes
Trucks with our name on them. A hot water unit and a tank so we are not depending on anyone else’s spigot. Employees who are coachable and honest, and managers running their own areas.
What began as a pressure washing business stands for something larger to us. We are building toward generational wealth, toward lasting relationships in this community, and toward a company that keeps growing past where it started. Every job and every customer is a step in that direction.
What we actually believe
Almost every job starts with somebody apologizing for their driveway. They have looked at it so long they assume the color is gone for good. It usually is not. What looks like a stain is nearly always buildup sitting on top of the concrete, and it lifts in one pass.
Real stains do exist. Oil, rust, paint. When something will not come all the way out, we tell you before we start instead of after we are paid.
The right pressure, not the most pressure
Concrete can take force. Siding cannot. Aim a pressure washer at vinyl or wood and you drive water up behind the boards where it sits inside the wall, and you can etch the surface permanently in about two seconds. Siding gets soft washed, which means the cleaning solution does the work and the rinse is barely stronger than a garden hose. Knowing which surface gets which is most of this job.
We show the middle of the job, not just the end
Anybody can post a clean driveway. We would rather show you the halfway point, where one side is done and the other has not been touched, because that line in full daylight is the only honest proof there is.
Every photo on this site and on our social media is a real Hunt & Brown job. Wet concrete gets labeled on the job, never called a finished result. We do not stage properties we have not worked on and we do not generate results that never happened. That rule costs us some flashy pictures. We keep it anyway.
You should know the price before anybody knocks
The usual way to hire somebody for your house is to fill out a form, wait two days, then have a stranger price the work while standing in your driveway watching your face. That whole setup exists to make it awkward to say no. Ours takes about a minute online and nobody comes out unless you book.
